Wildlife management – fox control
Foxes are becoming a growing nuisance, especially with the expansion of urban development. Although mainly carnivorous creatures, foxes are excellent scavengers and enjoy takeaways and other food waste. As a result of this they can prove themselves to be a nuisance in urban areas as well as in the countryside.
Foxes are protected under a series of wildlife protection laws against poisoning, gassing, asphyxiating, maiming, stabbing, impaling, drowning, clubbing and most forms of snaring. Anyone carrying out such acts subject to 6 months imprisonment and/or £5,000 fine per animal.
Nuisance foxes can be very loud, messy (leaving food waste and rubbish over a large area), cause distress and harm to pets and livestock, leave droppings and are often carriers of mange (a highly contagious skin disease).
Our team can provide fox control and trapping services. Our fox control services are legal and humane.
